While the risk of fire is minimal, we prioritize the safety and well-being of our guests and crew. To mitigate any potential risks, our ships are equipped with comprehensive fire suppression systems installed throughout all areas.

The primary fire suppression system on most ships utilizes water mist technology, which effectively converts water into a mist state. This mist presents a larger surface area, allowing for more efficient absorption of smoke and heat. Water mist systems are not only highly effective but also safe for individuals who may be near them when activated.

In critical areas such as engine spaces and galleys, we have implemented both water mist and CO2 systems for enhanced protection. Moreover, our vessel surpasses regulatory compliance standards by incorporating additional safety measures, such as foam systems in technical areas and wet chemical extinguishers in all galleys. These measures are particularly effective in combating oil-based fires.

Rest assured, we have taken extensive precautions to ensure the safety of everyone onboard in the unlikely event of a fire emergency. Your safety is our utmost priority.

The ship is equipped with an advanced network of fire sensors that are continuously monitored by crew members stationed on the bridge and in the engine control rooms. In the event of a fire detection, response personnel are swiftly dispatched to assess the situation.

  • Our dedicated firefighting teams are equipped with full firefighter gear, including breathing apparatus, and utilize special heat-seeking systems equipped with thermal-imaging cameras. These cameras, available in both hand-held and helmet-mounted configurations, enable rapid identification of the fire's source and aid in locating any individuals within the affected area.

  • Additionally, our crews have access to Impulse Fire Extinguishers (IFEX), which deliver a powerful blast of water using pressurized air. These extinguishers are specifically designed for rapid response, enabling quick suppression of fires as they arise.

  • With these advanced tools and the expertise of our highly trained personnel, both on the bridge and on the scene, we are equipped to effectively manage fire-related situations and ensure the safety of all onboard.

  • While our ship is equipped with advanced fire detection and suppression systems, we emphasize that fire safety truly begins with prevention. From the outset, our vessel is constructed and outfitted to meet stringent international fire safety regulations.

  • These regulations encompass various aspects, including the fire integrity of bulkheads (walls), windows, and onboard fixtures such as furniture and carpets. Throughout the construction process, our ship undergoes thorough inspections conducted by third-party safety inspectors from recognized classification societies and port state safety agencies like the U.S. Coast Guard.

  • By adhering to these rigorous standards and undergoing comprehensive inspections, we ensure that our ship is equipped to prevent and mitigate fire-related risks to the highest degree possible. Our commitment to fire safety is unwavering, and we continuously strive to maintain the utmost safety standards for the well-being of our guests and crew.

While our ship's officers and security team undergo specialized training, we ensure that every crew member participates in safety and security training modules. This comprehensive training ensures that all crew members are prepared to respond quickly and effectively in the event of an emergency.

To further enhance preparedness, our ship conducts regular drills on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis. These drills cover a range of potential situations and scenarios, allowing our crew to practice and refine their response protocols.

Additionally, our vessel is equipped with advanced fire detection and suppression systems. Moreover, we have highly trained personnel onboard who are capable of promptly responding to and managing reports of fire. Their expertise and readiness bolster our ability to address emergencies swiftly and decisively, ensuring the safety and well-being of everyone onboard.
